Located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, the Instituto Mário Penna will use SOPHiA GENETICS’ technology to advance its testing, research, and advance data-driven diagnoses and treatment decisions for blood-related cancers and disorders.

Cancer is the second most common cause of death in Brazil, with 704,000 anticipated new cancer cases expected between 2023 and 2025.
